Meet Us

 

We are Shay + Katie, a husband and wife team. We are wedding and lifestyle artists based in Cincinnati, OH, but our bags are always packed to go anywhere on the globe.
We have collectively been shooting for more than 25 years, starting on film. 2022 is the year that we head into our 13th year of photographing weddings and 6th year photographing them together!

Our passions for photography grew during our high school years. We went on to pursue our passions that grew into our careers. Katie is the heart of our weddings and lifestyle family sessions, while Shay works as a photographer and filmmaker companies big and small.
Shay has worked with several big name companies in the Ohio area including Kroger, WebEchoes, Frameri Eyewear, MadTree Brewing, P&G, StartUp Cincinnati, Dooley Media, and has been published in Cincinnati Refined, Cincinnati Wedding Magazine, Cincinnati City Beat, Inc. Magazine, The New York Times, and Google Year In Search 2017 with a mention of his work in Hilary Clinton's Book, "What Happened."

Now, Shay+ Katie have joined forces ( Star Wars pun intended) to capture the world around them, travel, and make memories for you.

We live with our two cats, Luna and Leia in our little, cozy apartment in Cincinnati. When we are not taking photos, you can catch us making brunch and watching our favorite shows, making a good cup of coffee, camping, or researching our next adventure . On those lazy days, because let’s be real we all need them, we put on one of our records or turn on a podcast and cuddle up. Shay would say that we own too many pillows and blankets, but I beg to differ. Put me in a blanket fort!

We've been Ohioans for our entire lives, but are hoping that one day that will change. With that being said, if you are getting married not in Ohio, we will come to you! We always have the travel bug.
